According to Meiland, a "good" college teacher presents information in the following way. Good college teachers present some information, in the sense of "what is currently believed." Because what is treated as eternal and unchangeable fact that human beings have discovered in their continual and relentless progress toward total knowledge may perhaps be well supported at the present but that could turn out to be wrong and we must examine the evidence to see how much support it gives the information. Material should be believed on the basis of reason rather than on the basis of authority. This makes an enormous difference in how the material is regarded. I agree with Meiland's opinion. Because if teachers do, students can have their each idea. I think students will become to reflect on the matter of their own accord.
